Every Mother. Every Child.
Improving maternal and child health is one of the most impactful things we can do. Our projects focus on reducing maternal mortality, improving newborn care, and ensuring children get the nutrition and healthcare they need in their most critical early years.
Our most significant achievement in this area is our Rotary Foundation Global Grant for two maternal health clinics — the largest grant in our club's history.
We collaborate with Almaty Oblast Health Department, UNICEF Kazakhstan, and local NGOs to maximize impact and ensure sustainability.

Global Grant: Maternal Health Clinics
Rotary Foundation Global Grant funding two maternal health clinics in rural Almaty Oblast, training 12 midwives and equipping delivery rooms.
Safe Motherhood Awareness Campaign
Community awareness campaign on prenatal care, nutrition, and the importance of skilled birth attendance — reaching 4,000 families.
Baby Essentials Drive
Collected and distributed baby care kits to 250 low-income newborn families in Almaty city.
Child Nutrition Programme
Partnered with UNICEF to distribute nutritional supplements and education to 800 children under 5 in underserved districts.
