Kun Bala Rope Park: Rotary Almaty Builds Outdoor Development Course for Children with Down Syndrome

The second phase of Rotary Club of Almaty's support for the Kun Bala Public Foundation — which works with children and teenagers with Down syndrome — concluded with a festive picnic at the Foundation's development centre, timed to coincide with International Children's Day and the opening of the centre's own "rope park".

The club paid for the design and installation of all elements of the rope park. Exercise on the course improves the general motor skills of the children, which in turn increases the overall effectiveness of their learning and development.

In addition to the rope park, the club also installed a special developmental playhouse on the centre's grounds, where children can learn basic skills — counting, colour recognition, geometric shapes and more — through play.

Parents and Rotarians decorated the venue and invited entertainers to organise fun games and competitions for the children. It was a day of joy, achievement, and community spirit.

The club is grateful to all individual participants of the "Hotter than July" charity event and to the partner companies whose support made this project possible.
