In September 2017, together with our partner Rotaract Club of Almaty, we launched a campaign to collect warm winter clothing and footwear for children and teenagers at the Esenov Family Home, located in the town of Issyk.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and brought clothing and shoes for the 30 children in the care of the Esenov family. The handover of items took place on 8 October 2017 — a simple act of generosity that will keep these young people warm through the cold months ahead.
This project is a testament to what Rotary and Rotaract members can accomplish together when the community rallies behind a shared purpose. The smiles of the children at the Esenov Home were the greatest reward.
